127/365 Candy

127/365 Candy

“Nibbles of Shortbread” Obviously I failed to post this last night. By some mis-alignment of the planets, we had no candy to speak of for me to use in this prompt.  The cacao nibs were the closest thing I could find.  Brooke used them to make shortbread, and several other amazing sweet things, for me to take to school for a student recital.  Her shortbread with these little nibs of chocolate are my new favorite cookie! “Shortbread” Yum!

“The Last of the Bluebonnets” It’s hard to believe that this year’s bluebonnet season is nearly over and that we are a week into May.  And, there are only two weeks left in this semester.  Where has the time gone?  Oh yeah, it has gone to lesson plans and grading papers and attending rehearsals and recitals and taking pictures.  Though it has been a good semester, I am ready for a break. 120/365 Harsh Light

120/365 Harsh Light

Sorry!  I fell asleep and forgot to post this yesterday. “The Light of His World” “Frisbee Fiend” Harsh light and white balance issues may make a black lab look blue, but better lighting would not have made this picture any more flattering.  When you have grass and slobber hanging out of your mouth, the aesthetic is what it is!

119/365 Price

“The Price of Marriage” We are going to England this summer.  Though we have been married almost three years, I have yet to change my name on my passport.  Now that I need it sooner rather than later, I’m afraid not to pay for the expedited service.  That turned out to be a pricey endeavor.
