Today is National Haiku Day.   I love haiku.  There is something about the enormity that is held in their seemingly limited structure.  Every syllable is chosen with intention.  If only that were true in many other uses of language.  Also, the first year that I did  The 100 Day Project, I wrote a haiku each day.  Revisiting that project from 2019 provides encouragement for this year’s one hundred poems.

Today is a good day for you to pick up pen and paper and write a haiku!
