This is not the poem that I thought I was going to write when I put pen to paper this afternoon.  I suspect my original thoughts were not well-formed and/or unfocused.  These short verses ended up in the middle of something where they really didn’t fit.  I’m not sure that they should stand alone, but for today they are.

The good news in all of this is that I still have the other part of today’s writing with which rto work so I may be slightly ahead of the game on another day.
