36/100 Acorn
Every day throughout this project, I am keeping a journal of the inspiration and the process behind each poem. Since most of the poems are first draft writing, I am counting on my notes to help me when I edit. Every now and then, I feel like the story if worth sharing here and now. Today is one of those days.
We were at that park celebrating Joshua’s little brother’s third birthday. Joshua came across the grass concerned about this little sapling he found. He took it home to plant and care for it. His concern was genuine and touching…and inspiring. I am proud to be his Nana.

Beautiful and heartwarming, Kris. I may not comment on everything but always enjoy your work.
Thank you so much for your kindness. I know you are busy. Thank you for taking time out of your day to stop by!
